Become a Member

You will have membership of Rwanda Children's Hope once you start supporting a child. We need your continuous support to children up to children graduate from their course of study. This helps children focusing on their study without worries of school dropout due to lack of tuition fee.  

As a member you become a part of an organization which works consistently for the long term alleviation of poverty in Rwanda. You contribute to the continuation of our work; so that children and community are empowered to be able to build their own future.

We set scholarship fee as following depending on level of nursery, primary, secondary, and university.

• 20.9 CHF per month (approx. 250$ per year) = You can help one year guarantee quality education for a child in Samaritan International School. At the end of the year, you can receive a letter from the supporting child.
  

  This cost includes: Teacher's Salary, One Time Gift (mattress, blanket, bed sheet for bedding), School Supplies (uniform, sport wear, sweater, shoes, school bag, books, pencils, crayons, and health insurance), and 80% of Meal Plan (20% of this Meal Plan basically paid by students)

• 30 CHF per month (approx 360$ per year) = You can help one year guarantee higher education for a child in secondary school in Rwanda. Most students who come from poor family cannot afford to have secondary school education. The tuition fee cost 30CHF per month which is three times more than average income of poor family in villages. So many excellent children who would have supported their community and country’s future have to give up their possibility of life at the age of 12 and 13 year-old. Your help brighten their future and country’s future! 

• 70 CHF per month (840$ per year) = You can help one year guarantee higher education for a child in university in Rwanda. Almost all of students who come from poor family cannot afford to have university  education even if students could graduate from their secondary education at top level. So many excellent children who would have supported their community and country’s future as a leader have to give up their possibility. Your support brighten children and country's future!

This price can be modified later up to exchange rate between Rwanda Franc (RF) and USD/CHF as well as price inflation of local market in Rwanda.
